Metabolic types such as endomorph, mesomorph and ectomorph describe body types and general appearances that are believed to indicate how these body types make and use energy in their metabolic processes.
A Dynamic Metabolic Type® describes how your body is struggling to efficiently make and use energy AND provides a roadmap to improve and optimize it to resolve burnout and fatigue. For example, if you’ve taken our burnout assessment and you’re a Hot Excess Dynamic Metabolic Type, it’s telling you that you’re too acidic (hot) and that you have “excess” energy in the form of toxins and inflammation. In this case, having excess energy isn’t favorable because it’s in a toxic form. In this specific case, knowing you’re too acidic helps you to know that foods that reduce acidity (alkaline) will balance your DMT to resolve burnout. You’ll also know that gentle cleansing foods and detoxes will safely assist you in removing the toxins and inflammation.
